If asbestos containing materials are found to be present, we can refer you to proven remediation experts to discuss removal, avoiding conflict of interest issues associated with hiring a remediation company to inspect for asbestos.

​Federal regulation requires that a trained Asbestos Building Inspector performs inspections of public and commercial facilities before the start of a renovation or demolition project. Jorgensen Associates offers certified asbestos inspection services for your project. We can inspect residential, commercial, governmental, and industrial settings for the presence of asbestos containing materials (ACM) and have these materials analyzed at an accredited laboratory with expedited testing available. If asbestos containing materials are found to be present, we can refer you to proven remediation experts to discuss removal, avoiding conflict of interest issues associated with hiring a remediation company to inspect for asbestos. We provide a professional report prepared by our certified asbestos building inspector to present to state officials and local landfills. This includes a description of the property and materials inspected, a description and location of suspect materials collected for analysis, and the certified laboratory testing results.

  • AHERA-Certified Building Inspector completes inspections according to the relevant EPA AHERA or ASHERA regulations

  • Suspect material analysis performed by accredited laboratory using Polarized Light Microcopy (PLM) methodology. Expedited testing available

  • Residential, commercial, governmental, and industrial testing available

  • Asbestos inspection report often required to dispose construction waste at local landfill

  • Materials that can contain asbestos include: Insulation, exterior siding, Ceiling and floor tiles and floor coverings, roofing shingles and underlayment, drywall,  wall and ceiling texture and finishes, thermal insulation systems

  • Situations that warrant asbestos inspection: Real estate transaction, demolition and remodels, damage to or replacement of materials that may contain asbestos, fire and water damage

  • Able to refer asbestos remediation professionals if asbestos present. We are certified inspectors and not affiliated with any remediation companies
